Accepting these terms

These terms govern your use of this site and any order you place. Placing an order means you accept them. If you do not, please do not order.

You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to buy from us.

Who we are

We sell as the merchant of record. Your contract of sale is with us, not with the labels whose products we carry.

Brands we sell

We are an independent retailer. We buy genuine stock from independent labels and resell it.

Brand names, logos and product names belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the goods we are selling. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that we are an authorized distributor of, affiliated with, or endorsed by any of those brands, unless a product page says so explicitly.

Product descriptions, specifications and imagery originate in part from the labels themselves. We check what we can, but where a specification comes from the manufacturer we pass it on as given.

Orders and prices

A listing is an invitation to order, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you pay.

We may decline or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, if the price or description was wrong, if we cannot verify payment, or if we suspect fraud or resale. Where we cancel after taking payment, we refund in full.

Prices are in US dollars and include duty and tax as described below. We can change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.

Stock is limited and often a single run. We may cap quantities per customer.

Duties, tax and import

We import goods and sell them delivered duty paid. Import duty and tax are included in the listed price and cleared before dispatch. You should not receive a customs bill. If a carrier asks you for an import charge on a Liyu Parallel order, do not pay it, and send us the paperwork.

We currently ship within the United States only. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories may take longer than the stated window.

Delivery and risk

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once we hand a parcel to the carrier, delays in their network are outside our control, though we will chase them on your behalf.

Risk passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

You are responsible for giving us a correct and complete delivery address. Reshipment after a failed delivery caused by an incorrect address is chargeable.

Returns

Our returns terms are set out on the support page and form part of these terms.

Nothing in those terms limits any right you have under applicable federal or state consumer protection law, including your rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described.

Size guidance

The size finder converts your height and weight against each label's published size chart. It is guidance, not a guarantee of fit. Manufacturer charts vary in accuracy and garments vary between production runs.

Because we know sizing is the weak point, we cover shipping both ways on one size exchange per order. That is our answer to getting it wrong, and it is offered instead of any promise that the recommendation will be right.

Using the site

Use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, interfere with its operation, or use it to resell our listings as your own.

If you create an account, keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.

Our content

The site design, the Liyu Parallel name and mark, our written descriptions, and our own photography belong to us and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our permission.

Third-party brand names and manufacturer imagery remain the property of their owners.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under Florida or federal law. Your rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the state where you live.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
